It is always my goal to help you and your family move more. So every Thursday, I am dropping a movement snack into your ears to help you and your family move more. I hope you enjoyed our conversation with Dr. Matt earlier this week. And today I'm bringing you a movement snack in regards to our conversation. So we were talking about how moms usually say, I have no time to work out, because part of what they are thinking, and this may be you is I have to put my outfit on, I have to get in the car and drive somewhere, then I have to do the workout and I have to drive home and then I'm going to have to take a shower to get cleaned up for the rest of the day, or same kind of thing, even in the evening. But I'm hoping that you have started looking at exercise in movement in a slightly different way. And even if you can't get to the gym, there is a huge opportunity. And I would say even more of an opportunity to be able to do some quick workouts at home. This is something that I always promote, I tried to do a lot of five minute workouts, I offer a lot of workouts on YouTube that you can watch and they're called fit in five, and they're five minutes, they're real quick that you can do. And like he mentioned, you don't even have to get sweaty. He just did pull ups and something else. I think that day, maybe it was burpees I can't remember right now. But these are things that you can do that you don't have to get sweaty. So for the next week, I want you to pick something, maybe it's something you enjoy. Maybe it's just 10 squats, and you do 10 squats every day. Remember how he mentioned that he has a client where he just had them do one pushup every day. And then as he got better, and he got stronger, he started pushing himself and he did a few more. Same concept if all you want to do is one of something each day until it becomes a habit. And then maybe then you want to start adding it on, go for it. If you want to you can join us in the formfit mom community over on Facebook throughout the month of May because may there is a big push to move more it is a movement month. So we are going to do some fun things within that community where I'll be posting something for you to do not every day. But throughout the month. Some of it might be a workout. Some of it might be just like I mentioned do one pushup today, you know, for the next week, do one pushup each day. And some may be where you incorporate some fun things for you and your children to be able to do together. So that is going to be your movement snack for the week, less about posture more about movement. And I just want you to find something, something that you enjoy. Or maybe you don't enjoy, maybe you just do one of something you don't enjoy, and start working it into your everyday habit.
